Default Only 13 Volts in Hot Weather!

i have a 2000 camaro and my gauge show 13 volts in 90 or so degree weather. is this okay? it starts up fine with no drag. i just started noticing it. in cooler weather it is past 13 i would guess somewhere near 14 that why i a curious. it has been like this for a couple weeks and nothing is going wrong with it i just need to no if my alternator is going out so i can replace it before it leaves me on side of the road. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks guys.

Our guages are aren;'t that great to begin with. But 13 is fine. Could just be that the weather is affecting the reading. You can always get a free alternator test at most auto parts stores. Have them do a battery check while your there.

Turn off your A/C and you should see the voltage go up when you remove that additional load on the system.
