Default Seat belt retractor questions

Hi,

So I need a new seat belt retractor (the part that bolts to the roof), and hope someone has some info on them I could use, as a new one will be about $200 !
Will a passenger side retractor work on the drivers side?
Are the rear seat belt retractors the same as the front ones?
What year cars will fit my 2001?
I guess the Camaro has the exact same assembely, and will it fit my TA?

Just trying to find a cheaper replacement that I can use, instead of being ripped off as usual lol.

Thanks for the help,

Paul.

No, No, and Yes. (but - you need to get the right color)

Go to a place like gmpartsdirect and you can get the right part at a humane price - should be around $55. (They are an online GM dealer, that undercuts most others on price.)
