anyway to disable daytime running lights?

Default anyway to disable daytime running lights?

i have a 2000 camaro with daytime running lights and i was wondering if there was any way to bypass it? i jus find it very annoying that i cant shut it off when i please.

Yes

Take your stereo out.

Locate small black box attached to firewall biased towards the passenger side of the car.

Take the box apart and locate the two larger sized solder points on the board and solder them together.

or even easier just lift up your handbrake one notch, your light will come on and it will annoy you but the light for your SES is probably already on so its no big deal!

Cool, thanks for posting that.

If I wanted to add a switch to turn on the DRL's. Would I simply go ahead and solder the switch into those two solder points, just not connecting them to each other. Just one end of the switch to one, and the other end of the switch to the other? So the switch is just acting as the "jumper".
