Default Plastic bag stuck to my headers

I started smelling a burning plastic smell this morning. I get under the car and what looks like a plastic bag got stuck to my passenger side header. Anybody know of anything that I can use to get it off with? I thought about trying to scrape it off but I figured it would take some of the header's coating off with it. Any ideas?

Scrape off whatever you can and let the rest melt away.

Leave it alone.

That happened to me years ago. I left it alone and it was all gone in 2-3 days.

+1 for leaving it, same thing happened to me and over time it melted away. It's not worth scraping it and removing some of the coating

Yeah, mine was a Publix plastic bag. I watch the sumbitch go under the car rolling through the parking lot. It was nasty looking at first. But it did go away 100% in a few days time.
