I'm just starting to have BCM problems questions. I've done the vats bypass does that mean I have to worry about the vin and such when I order a new one from ebay? will the resistance be different with a different BCM?

Yes, completely. . . . .Your BCM holds the VATS specifics and the Key FOB programming.
I have a BCM I got from eBay which I still have not used. Since I will have to determine the resistance value to bypass the VATS.

So the resistance will change with a different bcm? Like I said I've already done the vats bypass according to the resistance on the key now....
