Car won't start!!!!!:((
 

Ok guys I have a 98 z28 and I'm having problems with my car starting it has done this in the past but the security light was on and now it's not I put a new starter on it and it did fine for a while but now all of a sudden it won't start all the guages and all the lights work but when you turn the key over all you here is what sounds to be a silinoied clicking so I took it to our local dealer and they said they didn't no what it was and I'm just wondering if it might be another bad starter that is shorted out or something
let me no what you guys think

if its clicking it sounds like a starter issue and if you are getting power and guages are fine then im almost positive thats what it is

Sounds like a starter problem to me.

try a different key,it might be your VATS system.
