Idle's funny

Hey i was just curious what you might think the problem could be. When i start the car it has a doesn't want to idle correctly, it feels like it wants to die and my ses would start flashing. Early in the week i got 2 codes: P0171, and P0174. The went away the next day. I was thinking it could be the fuel injectors. I was wandering can it be an o2 sensor as well? Any ideas?

Forgot to mention its a 2002 z28 no mods.

Gunk in the Mass Air Flow(MAF) sensor maybe? Doubt its the injectors if both banks are lean.

Cleaned out the MAF stopped the codes, but when the car is cold my SES would start flashing unless i keep the RPMs above 1k. It would stop when the temp guage reaches the midway point. The idle doesn't fluctuate just the whole car shakes like mad.

Not sure if this is related but a month ago or more i had an ses saying that my cat converter was below threshold on drivers side, when i took it to the dealer he said it was replaced 4k miles ago.

I'm still getting into diagnostics, but as far as I know a flashing SES light means heavy misfiring.

Guess i will take a look at my plugs over the weekend, see if they are bad or not.

Replace your fuel filter. Seafoam it.
