Default Do I need the little plastic piece in front of the ac condensor?

It looks like it was blocking air flow so I just took it off.

If it's the piece I'm thinking of, it actually helps airflow by redirecting the upward flowing air through the condensor.

Without that piece, the air would just keep going towards the hood.

No problem with airflow here. No a/c, no bumper support and cut out grill section

you can cut out the bottom portion but keep the upper part so that the air doesent just travel up
