Window won't go down...any ideas?
 

Driver side window stopped going down today for some reason. I took the door panel off to see if I can tell whats going on. And as far as I can tell the motor is still working but it looks like something is binding up. Looking for ideas about this before I take stuff apart. Not too sure how these go together.

Window motor or window regulator is bad.

Yea, a very common occurance. My T/A is around 40k and the Passanger side is iffy at best. I tend not to put it down all the way if I can avoid it.

Burned up window motor as stated. If you keep this car any length of time it won't be your last. Auto Trix makes a kit to help with this problem.

Better buy window motors in bulk for f-bodies lol

when i first got my car the window worked for long enough to roll it half way down! i had to wait 5 min thee roll it up a little more, 5 min later role it up a little more... pain in the ass. bad motor. 1 year later the regulator broke. damn window just fell into the door! very anoying but a cheap fix.
