Oil Pressure- Drops under hard acceleration

Oil Pressure gauge drops under hard acceleration in first and 2nd gear. I'm told could be low oil, oil sending unit and or sensor or oil pump. Has anyone else experienced this, and know of a fix to it?

If your low on oil it'll do that for sure. You did check that already, right?

Could be anything from low oil to high oil clearances within the engine.

If his oil is low enough to be doing that, then the low oil light should be coming on.

Could be a bad o-ring on the pick up tube. Seen that before.

I checked the oil, it was low so I put some in. That solved the problem not enough oil to pump under acceleration.
