What's wrong with my car?

Hey everyone so I have an interesting problem. My obd port doesn't work. I discovered this as I had a Check engine light come on and I plugged my diablosport programmer in to check and clear the code. It powers up on othercars but won't on mine. I unplugged the car battery and reset the computer, but it still doesn't work. I'm confused...any ideas what's up? Thanks all

Bad ECM

Is this common? The car has 85k on it..

Not common, but it happens.

Now being that I can't even plug in to diagnose it, I've just got to assume that's what it is? Otherwise, I'd take it and have it diagnosed. Not trying to be dense here, just trying to make sure it is what it is

My money is on the guy with ten posts being right. Not the guy with 900+. Check cigarette lighter. If it works something else is wrong. However I would bet the fuse is bad.

Thanks so much guys...the cig fuse is out since it doesn't work. I'm goina replace that tommorow and see if it does the trick. You guys think that could be caused by running a high wattage bass amp, without a capacitor? My lights dimmed everytime it hit...I've since discontinued using it till I get a capicitor. Thanks
