Default anti-freeze prob

my problem is. my car keeps over heating. i put anti-freeze in it and about 2 weeks later i have to put more in it because its all gone. i looked for leaks and spot on the ground when i leave places and nothing. i have no clue where its going. at first i thought i just needed a new thermostat, but that wouldnt answer the question as to where the anti-freeze is going. any ideas?

You have a leak. Go to any parts store borrow their coolant pressure tester pump up the radiator then look for leaks.

If it's leaking, it might not leave a puddle because it evaporates quickly on a hot engine. Check for telltale stains on the engine. Pressure tester will I.D. the leak.

Hopefully it isn't a leaking head gasket, and the engine is burning the antifreeze out the tailpipe.

If he keeps topping it off it will be a head gasket soon enough
