i hav 99 lq4 truck, when i give it gas when i goin highway speeds the truck starts to bog lik it not getting air then goes, it also sounds lik a miss, my friend said it could be the mass air senor, thanks

unhook the MAF sensor and drive, if it runs better then its most likly the sensor.

You can also try cleaning it. Go to an auto parts store and buy some MAF cleaner.

ive tried that, an other thing i forgot to say, my wiring for the maf has been mixed up, my friend pulled all five wires out of the connector n did tell me

so i found out later when the truck keep running sick, saw the wires out i looked up wiring online in books, but all dont seem to work

check you fuel pressure during a drive. You may have a pump on it's way out.

i changed the pump almsot a year ago, but ill check that out too thanks
