Water wetter from anybody is a complete waste of time and money. Keep your cooling system properly maintained, and you'll never ever get hot.

I know people who don't run gms that swear by dexcool and I know peeps that run gms and would rather take it up the *** than run dexcool, best thing I can tell you is keep your car maintained regularly and run it like you stole it. I did the power tour and almost 1k miles in 92+ temps @ 75-80 mph with the a/c on full time and my vert ran fine w/dexcool, YMMV.

I hear ya, but you've got a completely different situation from a street car, or even a street strip car. Whole different dynamic in play with a car that spends most of it's life at full throttle, and has a minimal cooling system in deference to the weight god.

I run the same, with the fans on a manual switch. The only time I see 210 is when I'm not paying attention.

Listen to "fleet".....its a waste of money. I tried it in my 427ci when I first got the engine put in (2002) because I got caught up in the hype of it. And it probably works well for race engines that get extrene duty.

It did absolutely nothing for my temps, not a single degree. It probably does help hot spots from forming in the heads, but for a daily driver type street car....its 100% useless and unecessary.

A clean and properly flowing coolant system with proper airflow through the condensor/radiator is all that you can do to run cool. I use 90% water and a half jug of Dexcool down here in Florida, I run so cool all the time, its nuts.

LT1 radiator in an LS1 absolutely did drop my operating temps 10-15 degrees across the board though. Great mod.
