Hmm. I don't think so. The piece I'm talking about keeps the entire lock from falling out of the t-top. I can put the lock in there where it belongs, lock it, etc., but there's nothing holding it in place.

Go to the parts department at the stealership and see if they can pull up a diagram and get a part name and # for you. But according to this, there isn't anything, just the parts in the above photo.

No there is another part, it's a black c-clip. I found it today when I was removing my t-top, I heard a rattle on the corner and saw it poking out.

No I looked at the diagram, number 6 holds a little plate arm to the lock cylinder. I couldn't find this part on the diagram on partstaxi.com. I suggest you go to a dealership to see if they have the part number.

Okay. I just got that piece in the mail and immediately put it around the lock. I hope I put it in there correctly. I first came at it from the front, but it popped out too easily from around the lock. I then put it around the lock from the side, and it was more secure than before.

I put the piece in there, but something else is rattling. I may just have to buy another of the plastic molding that goes over the entire locking apparatus.
