Problem with my passenger side (flashing) turn signals
2000 firebird:
Yesterday my turn signals stopped working on the passenger side.....being they don't flash.
they light up, but no flash. When i turn my turn signal lever to the right side, the indicator on the dash just stays lit up.
I switched out the bulbs and that didn't work. everything else works just fine for both sides. everything turns on and lights up, but no passenger side flash.
since the bulbs didn't fix the probem (nothing looks corroted, i checked) i thought it might be the flasher unit, but i read that both sides run off the flasher....so it wouldn't be that since the left side is fine. I didn't think it could be a fuse, because if that goes bad, nothing works.
any other ideas???

I got the same problem on mine, man. The problem with mine is the front passenger day time running light bulb keeps going out. That light is also the front turn signal and the rear also runs on the same circuit. On mine, I think it's just the socket or I need to clean it, I've already replaced the bulb once and it relapsed on me in a couple weeks.
Check to see if one of your day lights is out. My bet is the passenger one is gone.

id check the grounds on the car... the line running to the bulb and unit itself might be shorting out or might have an open in the line ^^ if those ideas dont work... im an aircraft electrition so i look for that stuff first

subscribed. I have the same problem and haven't had a chance to mess with it yet. The DRL is working though and Im pretty sure it flashes with the hazards on but not the pass turn signal.

The hazards will work either way. I think there's two amber light bulbs in the front. It only takes about 3 minutes to get to the bulb, 20 seconds to change it and another 3 minutes to put it back together. I don't know why I haven't done it yet. lol.
