Windows don't open in the cold?

SO I noticed either one of my 2 windows takes turns of which one will not respond to a button's command to open or close the windows.

The aftermarket radio works fine (bcm issues if any?)

Only does this in 0 degree weather.

Where do I start or is that the old stock wiring just can't stand the cold....wtf

probably a bad motor. it has to work harder in the cold or it could have some water in it, etc.

What is a reliable brand for our car's window motors that I can get from local parts stores?

Thanks wssix99

Im using advance auto part window motor. I sold the car 2 year ago for a friend, and it still work fine. here the tip, when you low the window, dont low it all the way DOWN. cause it take alot of strenght on the motor to put it back up.

Get the Dorman brand motor and make sure the parts store offers a lifetime warranty on it. So far, no one on this site has reported the Dorman going bad on them. Dorman has a new design that is supposed to be sealed better from contaminants and its 100% new. (Most of the other brands for sale are rebuild motors of the old design.)

My windows wouldn't open the other night, seemed like they were frozen shut. That made the trip through the Wendys drive-thru a little interesting.
