Just started today, the tapping sounds like its coming from the front passenger side. My car has been sitting for about two years. I just got it running again about three weeks ago. It has been running very badly but figured all it needed was a tune. As I was getting ready to load it up to go to Pearland for a tune it starts this knocking.

my 02 camaro v-6 had a few calpsed lifters that i changed with a new set. i heard the same sounds from the pass side if that helps. Its real easy to pull that intake compared to the two peice plenum that mine has.
