Default important pcm question

ok so my battery finally died (oem from 02) now i know the pcm resets or whatnot, how long does it take and how far do i have to drive? should i beat on it a little or should i just drive normal? thanks.

Just drive it normally...nothing happens...no worries....have fun.

Nope. Absolutely nothing happens. Only thing that happens is....IF you had an SES light "on" for some reason, it will not be on anymore.

what about the pcm relearning something? my mechanic mentioned something like that is this true?

No. If you just had the battery power disconnected and did not change any parts or repair anything like MAF, TPS, Crankshaft position sensors, Camshaft position sensors......etc.....

There is no reason to perform an "Idle Relearn" or "Crank Relearn".....nothing.

I've had my battery disconnected for hours, days and weeks. Just connect the battery and drive.
