The drive belt powers the pump, so fill up the reservoir, wipe down the two hoses and the pump housing so you can see them, and start the car. It should be easy to find the drip then. Probably something you'll have to do after the alternator, obviously.
Yes, the second pic is your alternator. You'll need to remove the belt, then you will have a connector plug to undo, the positive cable with a nut holding it on, then the bolts that secure the alternator to the bracket.
Those other two are of your rack and the boot doesn't really do anything but keep dirt and debris out - if you puncture it with a small knife and move it back and forth and fluid comes out, the seal inside is busted and you have to replace the entire rack at that point (~$150)

Hey, since you're a lady and apparently not bad-looking, shouldn't the labor for this be free?
If it's a new belt, you may have the wrong one.
If it's the old belt, you may not have it routed correctly. Check the routing diagram sticker on the shock tower. Or you may need to retract the tensioner more (maybe get a longer bar for more leverage).
