fuel gauge question
not to sure where to place this question but anyways. My fuel gauge on the stock cluster works but its kinda acting funky.
here are the problems:
when the tank is full the needle is past full by a lot (~1/2 inch maybe)
if the tank is empty the needle is on the bottom of the 1/8th mark right above E
if i fill my tank or close to full it the seems the gauge moves slowly but when the tank gets closer to empty the needle moves a lot faster.
**example: i drive 60 miles with a close to full tank. it'll show i used 1/8th of a tank. lets say i drive around and get to 3/4 of a tank the needle seems to go down way faster with the same driving.**
If i turn left/accelerate the needle moves toward full
If i turn right/deccelerate the needle moves toward empty
this isnt a big deal its just something i want fixed
any ideas?

there is a LOT of slop in the bushing that holds the sending unit together.....which is why it does what it does.......only solution is to take the slop out...by dropping tank and pulling fuel pump.....or getting a new sending and hope it does not have as much slop....ask me how i know
