Default AC - O-ring question 99 - F-body

Are there any conventional 0-rings in this system?

After pulling it a part, I'm just seeing fittings that have permanent black seals and no conventional o-rings.

The kit I bought (compressor, drier, oil, o-rings, orifice tube) seems to come with conventional o-rings that are common on older 12a systems.

Thanks.

I'm assuming the black rubber fittings are re-usable; is this correct?

Yes - I will vacumn before a recharge..

No they are specific to the car. Whenever the A/C system is opened up the accumulator and its adjoining seals should be replaced, as well as the seals on the components you removed. Sometimes you get lucky and they don't leak when reused, but per GM Service Info, they should be replaced. I'd say use the seals the kit came with if the compressor and FOT aren't OEM.

They are like 2 bucks a piece at auto parts stores, replace them. It's alot cheaper than the freon you'll be buying to refill it next time. Don't forget to put pag oil on them.
