Gotta drill my lock out
Hey so i bought a 74 camaro for 1300 from a meth head on sunday and he lost the keys. The reg was in his name so i know it wasnt stolen and the motor, trans, and rear are all in super good condition, but he busted the ignition to start it for me and while i think i may have the ignition issue resolved, i cant get into the trunk. Seeing as how i cant open it to replace the lock cylinder, i am going to have to drill it. Ive never done this before and i want to make sure that i do it right. How do i do it? Just grab my drill and go to town on it?

Yes hit it on center, dont drill it too deep. Use the replacement cylinder as a guide to let you know how far you can go on the drill depth.
Use a drill bit depth collar to controll drill depth or real DIY stuff use electrical tape on the bit.
