Torn boot on steering rack

When I was replacing my front A arms I tore a little hole in the boot on the passenger side. It now leaks a little. Do you think it would be just power steering fluid or is there some kind of lubrication in there? This happened a few months back and nothing bad has happened but I just started thinking about it because it made some nasty noises when I turned hard right into a parking spot.

I've heard that it should be dry in there, if it is leaking fluid, then one of your seals inside are leaking. I don't know if there is any truth to that or not. My original SS boot is in the same condition. I replaced the rack and pinion and have been contemplating repairing the original myself.

there should NOT be fluid inside that bellows boot you ripped, that means the rack seal inside that boot is leaking..sorry to say, but the rack is junk and will keep leaking. time for a new one

What do you think it's leaking though? Is it power steering fluid?

It doesn't leak much at all....maybe a little wet but thats it. Not actually enough to drip.

When I first tore it, it did drip for a bit however

its powersteering fluid..but if its not bad enough to drip i wouldnt be tooo concerned about it,
