When was the last time you cleaned your TB? Sounds like it stuck.......or maybe the ASR or whatever was being an *******? See if your TB has black/brown buildup around the throttle plate, may take of that problem but doubtful it will affect anything else.

Yes look to where it is at this is what is wrong 99% sure if the pedal is hard its not letting it pull all the way. Turn on the car have some one rev it and try to push the tb wire back to wot. You mayne able to see where its at worst thing you have to get a new line. His was a 2004 gto.

Typically if you buy a new computer once it leaves the store it's your baby, no bringing them back for money, they will replace it but, no money

I had a problem similar to this one time. Pedal didnt get stiff and didnt really bog and slow down but didnt accelerate very good at all, smoked, and generally ran like ****. It ended up being a 20 amp fuse that supplies power to IAT, MAF, O2's, MAP, TPS, and pretty much every other sensor that makes the car run. Replaced the fuse and started the car and let it sit and even itself out. Smoked like a diesel for like 10 minutes but then it straightened itself out and has run great ever since. Just one more quick, easy thing to check.

I thought the traction control didn't kick in at high speeds? (I ordered my car originally without TCS, specifically because it isn't really that "smart.")

My car did the same kind of **** when I was driving it home for the first time... hesitant, sluggish and had poor top end.. did a full tune up and when I went to check the MAF, it had pieces of a damn bird in it... filter was filthy but in place... had feathers, a couple of bones and a ****** foot in my MAF screen.. No Joke.... descreened and used carb cleaner on TB and maf.. ran like a bat out of hell afterward...
