OEM Front Sway Bar Size Anyone know the size/thickness of the OEM 2000 Trans Am front sway bar? I just bought an aftermarket one off of my friend's racing '98 Camaro SCCA "Touring 2" car, and he said it is much stronger overall. It looks to be the same size as the one fitted to my car, so I'm just wondering if there's a chance I just bought a bar the same size. The previous owner said the bar was custom made for his car (was a Z28, not an SS, so it had no performance handling package fitted).

30mm is the stock size for the front bar on a base V8 car.
SS and WS6 cars received a 32mm bar.
