Default Leak under rear driver side seat

When it rains hard water will pool up underneath the back seat drivers side pretty good. And when doing a water test inside the car I haven't spotted the leak....anyone else have this problem or heard of cause/fix?

My second damn thread in this section in 2 weeks grrrrrrrr

There is a rubber plug that goes in right there. The body was made with the hole there, if the plug is gone, water splashing up thru the hole sounds like your problem...

Thanks for the reply

A plug where? It's pooling up into a puddle right underneath the carpet so it couldn't be right under the seat could it

Are you parked uphill or downhill when this happens? There are some hatch gutter issues that can cause this if you are pointing downhill.

My car has a slight drip when it is raining heavy and the moisture ends up under the floor mat on the driver's side rear, or on my left arm if I am sitting in the car. I don't get a pool of water but it has a garage to sit in now when I'm not driving it.

On my car the drip comes from where the T-top gasket meets the rubber gasket of the windsheild. I assume your 2002 has T-tops. Open the door and look at where the T-top meets the other window rubber.

I think this develops because of the way that the tops get locked into the storage holders under the hatch, when you have the tops off. They jiggle around in the storage holders and that wears on the ends of the T-top seals.

Just a thought.

I parked my car for the winter outside with no cover and I have pools of water on my drivers side. I've never really had this problem before and I've had the car since 09 and I had a lt1 before. I had a very slight problem when I first got it but never like this. I soaked up a LOT of water with a towel. Pints. I tried looking for a drain but this is the only time I've had to work on it and it's after 1am.
