Does anyone know what would make the ABS INOP, PARKING BRAKE, and the TCS OFF lights in the dash come on? It is very sporadic and it seems to come on and go off as it pleases. Not sure the issue but seeing if anyone else is having this issue.

I got it scanned at the dealership and they said it was the ECM and it cost $1300. But I just didn't understand why it came on then off. I think it might be when I hit hard bumps but how do you check your wheel sensors. Hopefully its not a frayed wire not visible.

Did you recently get new tires of a different size than factory? That will cause those 3 lights come on.
Also, you probably just need a new wheel sensor, if one goes bad that will happen too. They are cheap, like under $100.
Go to another place to get a scan......not the dealership. See what they say.

I had this problem one time a few years ago. Battery was on its way out and causing it because after i replaced it, it hasn't happened since. Make sure your battery and connections are good.

PCM's are $150-$200....don't let the dealership screw you.

From a dealer yes. They are going to replace it with a new one.
All though that is a little high.
But I'd really like to see what code/problem it has that it needs one.
There are places that fix them for internal relay failures....

I will see if I can find that code. I think the dealer wrote it down on my paper work. I know that it sucks not to have ABS on wet days but I will have to live with it if its going to be that expensive. I guess I have to ask around for it to get rebuilt. Most places around here are ford guys so I think Raleigh will be my best bet.

It's most likely the EBCM. The Electronic Brake Control Module goes out frequently. The ABS controller is made up of two parts. The EBCM is the electronic part and the other is the ABS block that has the valves and the fluid runs through. I had a similiar issue where all the lights would come up randomly every 5 or 10 start cycles. I threw two codes for the EBCM. I found a good used one on this board for $100, swapped out just the electronic part, 6 torx screws, and the problem never came back.
You can find the modules in the classified section or on ebay all the time. There are two differen EBCMs. One for 3 channel car, only ABS. And one for 4 channel cars, ABS + Traction Control.

well now one two or all there lights are on. I was driving yesterday and the parking break light went out but the abs and the tcs light was still on. A few days before that, just the tcs light was on. I am thinking about buying the BCSM and then the entire harness if the problem occurs again. But this is one of my last days in US so I will be getting back in touch with you guys in several months. Thanks for all the advice and I will start working on the issues one at a time. Time for a burn out!

Launching!
I'm having the same issue, ABS INOP, BRAKE, and TCS OFF, lights on. Codes C0550 = ECU Malfunction Probable Cause; Failed EBCM (TCS)
& C0896 Out Of Range Voltage At The EBTCM Probable Causes; Charging system fault, Open or short circuit condition, Poor electrical connection, Failed relay condition, Ignition switch fault.
I'm the original owner and I'm at 137,000 miles. I have had the above codes come on and off for a couple of months, and have since replaced the front wheel hub assembly's that included wheel sensors, replaced alternator, and "just" cleaned the rear sensors for the first time, one had a strand of wire stuck to it (wire not in photo below).
Cleared codes, I'll have to drive it for about a week and see if codes come back, hopefully it was just the dirty rear sensors.
