so after two years of not driving my TA because of a broken tranny, i finally got it fixed last week but now my security light has come on in my dash. it isn't blinking or anything, just a solid light. the car still starts up and goes but i am kinda afraid to drive it anywhere just in case it decides it doesn't want to start up. i know of a bypass for it but i dont know how to fix it or where to even start. any help would be appreciated! thanks

Mine is on and drove it for 45000 miles like that without a problem.

Use a multimeter to test the resistance in your key chip. If that is still reading fine then it is most likely the ignition cylinder. My security light has been on since I bought the car back in October and know that the key is fine.
