Default How does coolant sensor come off?

Got a 99 ls1 and need to replace/clean the sensor again. Haven't done this in years and cant remember does it spin clockwise? I'm worried about breaking something.

Should spin out counterclockwise just like a regular bolt...at least that's how my 98 did...brass fitting on driver head...have to use an adjustable wrench though

I was taking out the coolant level sensor which is in radiator. I got it out. You must remove the metal clip and pull the sensor directly back and it comes out. Cleaned it up with vinegar, old toothbrush and queue tip. To install put metal clip on sensor, lube up o rings with coolant and it should pop back on. No more 'coolant low' light so I am good to go for a bit.

Just do like I do. Unplug the sensor and check your coolant on the weekends.

Take the metal locking tension wire off and it pulls straight out. No twisting at all.
