Default Replacing pass side power mirror on 98 Z

Before i get into it.Once i get the inside piece off to get to mirror screws and loosen mirror can you get to the plug to disconnect mirror assy wire harness without taking inside door panel off. I guess i,m asking can you get enough slack to pull the harness up to unplug it or is it connected to another secure mounted connecter down inside door. THANKS for any insight on this.

On the T/A you have to remove the door panel to get to that cable plug. I am guessing it would be the same for the Camaro

depends I got mine out without removing the door panel originally, just be careful not to drop bolts cause then you are pulling the panel
