8 or 7 cylinders Can I get advice how I can tell if my engine is firing on 8 or 7 cylinders? Will I get a trouble code or engine light? I just changed my ignition wires and the rear passenger side wire recessed underneath the cowl was a bitch to plug in. Thanks on advance

Why do you think you have a miss fire? Running rough? It still can be missing and not kick the SES light on. It has to miss so many times in so many cycles for the light to come on.
Do you hear any ticking, arching,snapping(I call it barking)from the spark plug wires? Also look at it at night. If you have one arching you can sometime seem a blue halo glowing around the spark plug boot.
