my car won't start

Default please help my car wont start

Over the winter i powedercoated the valve covers and when i was taking off the alternator i broke the electrical clip, i replaced that and put it all back together, my battery is fully charged , the fuel pump turns on, the motor is turning over but it will not fire, it really wants to but it just wont fire up... any ideas??

Are you getting spark to the plugs??

get a spark tester from your local parts store, you just take the plug wire off and plug it on to the spark tester then crank the engine over...

Or you can save your self some money and just take a plug put it in the spark plug boot and hold it against the block. Have some one turn the motor over. If you got spark. You will see it arch to the block.

I ended up taking one of the plugs out and it was black and had some oil buildup on it and what really makes me wonder is the last owner put in NGK TR5 plugs in it which are a lower heat range then the stock plugs and they are usualy used when running nitrous if im correct...so kinda makes me wonder but anyhow i got 8 ac delco plugs i have 6 of the 8 in i couldnt get 2 of them on the passenger side so im going to take it to a shop and have them put in the other 2 i guess, it fired right up and it running good. thanks for everyones help.
