yep and it's worse from the starting lowers down at the end.

I'm surprised your rear end lasted through that. Do you have a 9 inch?

What is your current rear suspension setup? If it's mostly stock you need to consider LCA's, possibly with relocation brackets and a torque arm.

AmDWs6 Jan 26, 2013 06:47 PM

everything is stock including rear end

LCA's ... hmmm would UMI or BMR be a good choice for those
tbh im thinking to get an A to Z suspension from either UMI or BMR no K-member though wouldn't pass inspection

torque arm is in mind but i don't think that's the problem.
any other idea's would help..
when i first changed my tires it went away now that the tires are less threaded it came back

garygnu Jan 26, 2013 06:56 PM

consider some after market lower control arms.you mite need new shocks and springs.

AmDWs6 Jan 26, 2013 07:00 PM

i've been told once about something i barely recall that's specifically for wheel hop's but its some kind of a cheap thing to do.. any idea's on that?

could be the tires gaining and losing traction

cold tires, worn tires, street tires, dry rot all could have a helping hand in wheel hope

or on the other hand it could be susp. related as well, just dont count out the tires

AmDWs6 Jan 26, 2013 07:10 PM

i had potenza bridges tone tires 255/50/R17 and once they had less life on them the wheel hop's started and now i'm running 275/45/R17 NT555 nitto been a while, yet i don't think its tires i'm going for suspension on this one.

i just want to make sure what i need to do for this particular issue.

Blackbird-WS6 Jan 26, 2013 07:16 PM

i know you said everything is stock BUT did your check your pinion angle??

AmDWs6 Jan 26, 2013 08:02 PM

nothing has been checked or tested yet.
although i must say that i've been hearing a humming sound only at those speeds 5th & 6th gear 80km/h to 120km/h
all other speeds ... just fine even above the mentioned speeds i've been told that nitto nt555's are quiet unquiet.

What would I want to go with adjustable suspension parts or non-adjustable
Can any1 brief me on the advantages/ disadvantages?

Blackbird-WS6 Jan 27, 2013 12:49 AM

adjustable panhard bar to center your rearend side to side

adjustable TQ arm to set your pinion angle

now when its comes to the control arms everyone is going to have there take on it, some like adjustable ones, others dont, some people need the adjustable ones to center the tire in the wheel well front to back

adjustable panhard bar and TQ arm are a must imo, the control arms are up to you

I had wheel hop issues when I bought my car....I bought bilstein shocks and some lcas. Completely took care of the problem. Alot will say lcas alone will help, I'd start with those if your on a buget since their cheaper than buying a new torque arm, or new shocks. All my little shit is umi

AmDWs6 Jan 27, 2013 03:17 AM

all adjustable then i suppose...

@justin hover
im not on a budget, torque is a must, stock one sucks ass it got loose once on me and i had to drive without a TQ " i didn't know at the time.. solid Trans mounts ... HA"

so i'll get all adjustable-- LCA's "w/relocation brackets?", TQ "w/relocation bracket"? or lca's without?? TQ-BMR OR UMI which relocation kit .. obvious for bmr but what about umi?

currently i have no plans on changing the rear end to a 9" <future mod.

yes, im surprised he stayed in it that long and held up, you dodged a bullet

AmDWs6 Jan 27, 2013 10:47 AM

this isn't my first time where i got into this situation this is only one of the trillion times it happened i just decided to take a pic .. fix this issue....

WS6nTX Jan 27, 2013 12:16 PM

you're playing with fire..I wouldnt do that anymore until you figure it all out. Think about physically what that's doing to your car...IF you havent already ruined something, you will very soon..its not if but when.

Im looking at the adj ta and phb as well..if you're seriously into your car and care about it, you wont do that anymore until you resolve the issue.

WOW! I can't believe you stayed in it! If this happens again let off man. your going to blow your rear up.

AmDWs6 Jan 27, 2013 12:52 PM

i'm surprised honestly, most of you had me thinking that i have a miraculous rear end.
it only happens at launch "racing launch"
first gear rolling fine, shifting to 2nd the disco's back
i just re-tuned it and had to test.

i'll make sure i get it fixed, but now i'm wondering do i need relocation brackets for the phb, lca,tq? i know the tq relocation is a hell yea but what about phb,lca.. keeping in mind that in a further future i'll be getting the 9" rear end or the nearer future if this one dies out.

OP -

Another inexpensive addition to all other things discussed (LCA relocation brackets, new / aftermarket LCAs - or - Energy Suspension Poly bushings in your stock LCAs) is the addition of Air Bags placed in the rear springs - then add 15 psi in the Pass side bag and 10 psi in the driver's side bag.

It helps - good luck!
