turn signal won't flash

Ok so my driver's side turn signal wont flash but the light comes no both bulbs work. passenger side will flash and works fine. Anyone else have this problem?

It's probably one of the bulbs, they have a dual filiment iirc so it could still light up but the other filiment could be out. I had this problem last week and it was my front bulb.

When you say "the light" comes on, is that the light on the front and rear of the car or the light on the gauge cluster?

This could be caused by a number of problems. The easiest way to save time is to turn on your hazards, get out of the car, and look at the front and rear bulbs. If its a bulb or socket, the bulbs will not illuminate. If they all do illuminate, then its an issue with the flasher or something deeper.

probably the flasher under the dash. might also want to check the blinker fluid level.

I had a weird problem like this once, I noticed the light in the cluster would stay on constant when the signal was on, but looking out the side mirrors the lights were flashing. Both front and rear. I went home and started going through the bulbs one at a time with a replacement and I believe it was the front drivers side bulb, that once I changed it out the cluster begin flashing. Weirdest thing I had ever seen since all the bulbs were operating.

Could have been the dual filament thing, I don't know anything about that. Might read up on it.

But have you tried anything like what I described?
