Default Trans am clicking/popping noise

I'm new to this site don't really no much about it yet. Anyway I recently bought a 98 trans am with 41k original miles am a couple weeks ago I'm starting to hear this click/tink noise when I put my car in reverse or take off fast also when I'm braking before the car comes to a complete stop i hear noise sounds like something is loose took it to two shops they can't find anything any advice? Could be your torque arm is loose or cracked...it may be rocking up and down, or it could be your brakes clicking, it could be the lash in your gears, it could be a tranny or motor mount missing, could be a bad u-joint could be your exhaust tapping something when the car flexes....thats all i can think of right now, Check the torque arm bolts and inspect the arm itself, and take a look at all of your mounts to see if one dissapeared and your exhaust...First/easiest things to check for rattles and noise to me. Hope this helps
