I can't identify the issue!

I been over this a thousand times somebody help. When I'm driving and I start to brake from basically any speed I'm getting a small thumb you can here it an feel it it's nothing drastic or dangerous yet it's just really annoying . Iv had my u joints inspected still good I had the mounts looked at all good. If it were one of those I would think I would get some vibrations, rattles or something but I have none of those issues.. The only time I here it was when I'm slowing down to pull in a drive way or make a u turn or just flat braking would bad bushings be able to cause this? Btw it's from the rear somewhere an it's not the brakes

Is it a thump-thump-thump.....continuous while you are moving with brake pressure applied....or just one thump when you first hit the brakes to slow down?

.

It's just 1 thumb... Thee only example I can think of it's like you have groceries in the trunk an when u hit the brakes it slides forward and thumps lol that might not be a good example but it's the only way to describe it

Did you check to see that the spare tire is secure?

First thing I checked... Is there anyway bad bushings can cause those symptoms?

do you feel it under the floor? if so did you check your torque arm? loose bolts or bad/missing bushing on the tranny mount will cause this.

Certainly.......

I would put it in the air.....get in it, put it in drive and let the tires start to spin......hit the brake with someone back there under it watching for movement.
