Default How far can I drive with these upgrades

In a couple of weeks I am having my stock injectors and fuel pump switched to 42lb injectors and walbro 255lph fuel pump. My car is an auto 2002 ss camaro it has been tuned with the stock stuff I have now but runs lean after 5k rpms. How far can I drive it and how fast should I go until I get it retuned? Thanks

I have the 231/236 cam. This is why I need to switch these parts. Car only has 56k miles and fuel filter was just replaced.

I would drive it with the stock fuel system like a grandma. take it to the tuners and swap your injectors there.

THIS

if you switch your injectors first it could cause pre mature bearing wear and cause your pistons to scrape your cylinder walls due to to much fuel in the system.

Ouch...thanks for the heads up. I guess saving 100 bucks isn't worth the potential damage that could happen.

yeah washing the rings out is very bad. don't drive unturned with larger injectors.

Yea, you can change the heads, exhaust, intake and even cam (to an extent), still drive it with minimal issues, but once you change the injectors, you are asking for trouble
