How to fix sideview mirrors that are powered? They just stopped working.

Default How to fix sideview mirrors that are powered? They just stopped working.

They won't budge at all. Is there a fuse or something? First one went out, then the other.

The power mirrors are protected by 15A fuse #7 labeled PWR ACCY.

Never rely on a visual inspection of a fuse (especially an old fuse)... it can look fine but still be blown. Always use a fuse tester or multimeter to test or replace with a known good fuse.

However, if one went out before the other, it's not going to be the fuse - both are on the same fuse. It's probably the mirror motor itself although it might be the switch.
