Default Camaro accelerates on its own

I recently replaced my pcv valve, hose, and fittings because I had a vacuum leak. Now it runs fine until I turn the Ac, heat, or the fan on then it will rev up to over 2k rpms. It will only settle back down when I completely stop for a few seconds. Any help here guys?

Maybe a lil carbon build up on the throttle plate. Take the MAF off and open the blade up to see if there is any build up. Take a lil carburetor cleaner and brush to it and clean it up a bit.

You might have a sticking idle control valve.

Could be a possible vacuum leak in the HVAC system.
The HVAC dampers are all controlled by vacuum motors.
Is it possible you knocked another hose loose as you were working on the PVC line?

I don't think so. I've checked, re checked, and double checked my re check. IAC valve is about a month old, I think I will exchange it for a new one and see what happens

Sometimes, those little rubber vacuum line elbows and connectors (the ones over by the ECM wiring/firewall) which go into the check valve there age/weather deteriorate and crack under the bends where you cannot even see the damage.

I would inspect them, and maybe even replace them ANYWAY if they are original since they are cheap at any of the chain stores (Peppies, AZ, AAP, NAPA, etc.)
