Craddock

I got a new Volant dual cone CAI in the mail today. Put it together and noticed that it was missing that little filter that goes toward the driver side and had two extra parts. One was a joint to join two rubber lines and the other was a plug that didn't fit tightly into anything.

After some reading it seems that I won't use the little filter because I have a 99. Any idea where those 2 extra parts go? Do I need to plug that hole where the little filter goes since I have a 99?
