Default 1998 Z28 A4 Noise, Please help!

Today when I got off work I turned my car on and let it warm up for a couple minutes. Before I left I revved it a bit not even exceeding 2500 RPMs and I heard like a rattling noise when the RPMs started to come down. I drove home and didnt hear the noise while cruising so after 10 minutes of driving I pulled over and revved it a bit in Park and Neutral hoping it wouldn't sound and unfortunately it did. I checked all of my fluids and they seem to be at good levels. My transmission oil level is good but it isn't red. I'm guessing I need a change soon.

I also put some rags in my tailpipes thinking it was an exhaust leak but it sounds the same. Car only has 30k original miles. I will be posting a video so that you guys hear for yourselves and hopefully are able to tell me what the problem is.

I would get the front end up in the air. Remove the starter and check the converter bolts and also check the flex plate for cracks.

sounds like flexplate failure/cracks,but 98s' aren't prone to that because of good flexplates.

Could be something loose in the cat/exhaust system.
