Hard starting when warm, can't find the problem??

I'm having an issue I can't seem to figure out. I've noticed lately after driving the car or running the car warmed up after shutting it off for a few minutes. If I try to restart it, it takes along time to actually run or it takes a second try to get it running. Cold start it starts right up. Waiting a minute it starts right up. Waiting an hour it starts right up.

I know the first thing that will be mentioned is the tune. The tune is about a year old and I've never had this issue until now. I think I need to look elsewhere. The car is cammed, stalled, and SD tuned so obviously it can't be the MAF. No codes. The fuel pump was done around the same time as the cam. I also replaced the starter in hopes to solve this issue as suggested, I'm still in the same boat.

I've heard try to replace the MAP sensor, upstream o2 sensors, coolant temp sensor.... I don't feel like throwing money at maybes. Research doesn't point me in a specific direction.

Surely I'm not the only one who has had a similar issue. Ideas? Thoughts?

This problem is annoying and embarrassing, I'd like to get it fixed ASAP.

Thanks,

Wrap the starter to protect it from heat if it doesn't crank... It's low cost and easy to do: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/t...FUxMDQodxf8O8A

I replaced the starter and while I was at it I wrapped it in a DEI blanket. That's not it unfortunately

I'll also mention the battery and terminals are new too. The car has plenty of juice.

My GTO has a similar problem since it was new. If I shut it off when it's hot and restart in one minute (or less) it will crank for a long time before it starts or takes two tries to start. I don't know why, but a lot of other LS2 powered cars do it too so I'd say it's normal for these cars.

Hard to believe it's normal to me since it just starting doing this. I've owned the car since 2010. It's gotta be something else

Post here if you find the problem.

Check for leaking injectors

Injectors and pump are newer, installed all that when I did my nitrous setup over a year ago.

Yeah, if I ever find it. Apparently I'm the only one in the LSx world who has ever had such a problem. Lucky me as always.
