Default 00 trans am heater not blowing hot air

About 4 days ago my car suddenly stopped blowing hot air when I turned the heater on. (It worked fine before) I have checked coolant level and checked for leaks but everything is good to go. I dont have any overheating issues either. The car runs and operates as it should. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Nope, just went through this on my son's 5.3 truck. Feel both the hoses going to the heater box, they should be the same temp. If one is colder than the other, the core is blocked.

just checked it at running temp and they both felt warm. I'll probably go ahead and flush it just to be safe.

You can go to a local autoparts store and buy a coolant flush kit that comes with a t fitting for the heater hoses, and on that t-fitting is an attachment to hook up a garden hose to flush out the core.

You can also just disconnect the heater hoses at the water pump and try to use your garden hose to pressure flush the junk out
