Default Oil change after HCI swap

So i purchased a used HCI setup for my car. The heads had been redone prior to me buying them, the cam was used. The previous car they were on had broken them in and everything. My question is do I need to change the oil after 500 miles since they are on a different engine even if they are used? I used Royal purple 5w30 HMX and would prefer to not waste it if I don't have to. Appreciate the help. Thanks

I would change just to be safe since they're on a new bottom end. And they're probably not sitting EXACTLY as they were before so if it was my car, it would be worth the peace of mind.
