MY CAR WOULD START THEN DIE, i have to do this 3 times then starts and runs fine, however yesterday went to start it and nothing not one crank. so i went to autozone and purchased a new starter, accidently connected the 2 post on the starter relay and when i connected the battery, the car tried to start itself even with no key in it. i had to disconnect the battery, reconnect the starter properly and back to the same issue of no crank, i think i might of fried the starter, but IS THERE ANY OTHER ISSUE I MIGHT OF MESSED UP?

take your key and and clean the diode in the center of the black square with an eraser. and see if that makes a difference
