Default AC stops running cold in over 80 degrees.

2010 camaro ss. I just attempted to recharge the AC and the pressure didn't read. It was past red, the compressor was spinning, what could be the problem?

Is the fan working. The ac fan should always be on when the ac is turned on even with the engine cold
