i was driving my car on an interstate highway when i heard a rattling sound within minutes the sound grew louder until when i press the gas pedal it would not go i turned onto the side and the car died and a huge puff of smoke came from under the hood what happened

I think the problem is, it doesn't have an LSx fitted so it became embarrassed and died on you.
