Default Should I replace my airdam?

the last two summers. I had an overheating problem when I run my AC during hot summer days only while on the highway. Doesn't happen when sitting in traffic. Well, while under my car searching for a transmission fluid leaj.. I found my Airdam looks quite warped... Does this look to be an issue?

Edit you can barely tell in the photos but there's a huge forward buldge and I'm not sure if that may be hurting things

I wouldn't think your "bulge" would be an issue as long as the same amount of air is kept from flowing under the vehicle. So, if it was mine, I'd keep it.

Also I removed the Air Baffle under the LID for the FRA mod, do you think that could be causing it because air is not being deflected properly into the radiator?

I don't see any concerns with the condition of that air dam. I used to use the FTRA kit which removed the plastic baffles and had a cut out opening in the upper radiator shroud. Temporarily switch the FRA back to stock and compare.

Looks like you've been hitting to many parking lot end blocks. I'd replace it with a complete one. I would not even think about removing it and not replacing it.

Maybe.

I would think FRA would cause your radiator to work less efficiently. That shouldn't be an issue because the thermostat would regulate for the issue and just flow more water. The only issue would be on those very hot days where the less efficient system coudn't keep up.

FRA = Free Ram Air, but... nothing in life is really "free"

Put it back. When my new engine was installed the shop did not put that baffle back in. It was in my box a leftover and unused parts. My car ran hot everywhere......I put it back in and problem solved. That part is there for a reason.....you are hurting the way the air flows up and through the radiator.

Try a junkyard. I doubt they make that part anymore, but maybe. If not....pull one out of friends car as a pattern and make one out of thin sheet metal or plastic. I've seen a bunch of guys make them out of sheet metal.

A warped air dam can be unwarped using a heat gun. Get it hot and it will return to almost original shape with no effort - with a little heat and bend it back to where it was originally by hand (use gloves it gets pretty hot) you can restore it to almost perfect original shape.
