Default Where to Safely Lift camaro with a 2 post lift.

Like the title says. I have a two post lift and I am looking to lift my camaro up. Does anybody have any photos of where I should place my lift prior to lifting up the car. Currently I have found two flat spots right inside of the fender tabs. It is the front subframe. Two more flat spots in front of the rear control arms. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Would it be safe to lift on the frame rail?

How do you own your own lift when you don’t even know how to use it?

Go troll somewhere else. Have you ever made a constructive post on here?

OP, straight out of the GM manual.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. That’s all you’re doing by giving him the answer. See, you think you’re helping him - but as long as everyone like you just gives him the answer instead of giving him the motivation to find his own answers - he will forever live day to day relying on others. People like me help far more than people like you.

Let me explain it to you. Never had a 4th gen while owning this house which came with a lift. I had a 69 Camaro and lifted it and tweaked the subframe and had to get the front end realigned. Rather be safe than sorry. Go fly a kite.

Thanks Spartan, I searched in the owners manual and couldn't find anything. Just on jacking up with the car with the supplied jack.

Then you better learn how to fish yourself lol
Non Fisherman asked....How do I make this go away

All the other posts that Non fisherman asked for help.

You are more of a belittler than a helper around here and your post prove it. I'm surprised you haven't been banned already.

8lug is the biggest troll on here. All he seems to do is bitch and whine. With no constructive post you should be banned. I'm sure if a mod looked through your posts he'd agree.

Except you didn't teach him anything by being a *****. You slapped him in the face and said "Learn to fish, dummy." If you hopped off that high horse of yours, you might be able to grasp that concept. And with that, I'm done feeding the troll.

If you bought into an existing lift, I think you'd find this book a worth-while investment. It will show you the lifting points for any vehicle: https://www.autolift.org/ali-store/alilp-guide/

You don't have to explain anything to anyone ... especially a fricken troll. Perfectly valid question to ask. Life is an education ... the day that you know everything is the day you are God.
I'm grateful for all the help I've gotten here over the years.

From here on out, let's keep this thread back on the topic of lifting. I'm confident that everyone here can now move forward in the spirit of technical discussion and cooperation.

If there's nothing more to be said regarding the original question, then we can lock this one up.

Funny thing is, despite all the subsequent commentary, the OP had identified them correctly in his first post.

We'll lock up this thread since we landed on an answer to the question. No need to go any further, here.
